It appears we need to have 10 nominees. From my previous post, I think we have 9. WE NEED ONE MORE. Is the below list the top nine of all time or does it have to be tweaked? Here is the list in alphabetical order:

Who do we add? Do we remove someone and add someone else?
On 3/25/2006 I will take the 10 nominees and put them on the SPLMAX poll. We will then vote for the greatest SPL competitor of all time.

Greg was one of the nicest, most loyal competitors I had ever met. Being new in this sport, not many big time extreme guys want to talk to you....much less help you.
Greg always offered help, suggestions, and would go out of his way to speak to most anybody. He was loyal to his friends and his sponsors in everything he did.
Even when he was sick, he made sure he made the effort to call and check on his friends that he knew were traveling or working on a car for a show.
I think it would be only fair that he be included on this list.

Should we add Waynes name to the pile-I mean he is the Godfather of Bass as we know it. He was once a competitor and took it to the next level. There are so many origins. ( Had that initial meeting with Mark turned out differently...would Alma have become the legend that she is?-we may never know)

Mike Jones. In my opinion, if it wasn't for him, myself as many would have never heard of Digital Designs. The others mentioned though aren't bad choices either. F it, I say do a Db Drag Hall of Fame and induct some people every year.

I would say maybe danny or bobby....Mikko also since basicaly everyone in extreme runs his design in extreme. But them after some thinking maybe jeff from sweet sounds....or even mr green machine... john henry. So many to choose hard to pick. Going on how about gary alwes...or the alfaro's...norass....doug lundy(which was always helpful and had time to talk at any show i saw him at)....and what about chilli (pure sounds)...mike hughes...david baldwin.
Hard to pic 10...honestly i think it be realy cool if at finals this next year they had a hall of fame type thing and invited all the "old timers" there and everything.

add mikko,and what about Brantley Waites,Bill Proud,Martin from Ultimate Audio( south carolina),Steve Cotton,Fred Wright JR.(NSPL),Wayne Harris,Tim Maynor,Greg Cobbs,Ed Eason,Chili(Pure Sound)also Roger Bridges....imo these are some people that also deserve a nomination. I too am in favor of a hall of fame, possibly after this election is over.

For real, it's hard to pick just ONE competitor when so many have brought lots of things to the table. Db Drag Hall of Fame should be definitely set in full effect. Pay homage to the men and women that put it down. if it wasn't for those elite people, there wouldn't be any Scottie J, Tommy M, and the Riley's. (No disrespect to the peeps that's louder than crap or has been doing this for years, just examples.) Not looking to start a fight or catch flames, but I feel like it had to be said. Eventhough, I've never competed in a Db Drag show, I do know of the people that's inspired me over the past 14 years to continue on, so that one day, I too can be mixed in with an elite group. To the creator of the thread, put yourself in that group. That is all.
