van might not make daytona. dropped the headliner and the windsheild support came down with it, ripped to shreds. trying to find a new 1, but not having much luck. hopefully i can get it fixed so i can compete. only time will tell.

If I was a guessing person I'de say the part is probobly ripped again. It would need a new one. Since they are welded in. I don't know if you could cut one out and reweld it.
If I am thinking of the wrong piece please correct me Mr. Estes.
What I think he should do is find a new one weld it in and DB Blue the entire roof. End of story. problem solved.

found the parts today! they arent in production anymore and havent been for 3yrs now. i got the last 3 in existence! hopefully it can be fixed. the windsheild comes out tommorow and we'll try and get it fixed by next wed. bad news is the roof skin ripped as well and there are none of those available except from a junk yard. keep your fingers crossed.
ps. Al you are correct, same brace as the others.i'll try to post a pic soon.

BASS RACE BIATCHHHHSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! and ill dabble in 5+. nothing real impressive on the drag side, maybe mid 60s. im not running the right imp. for burps. i can do damn near the same score with 12 amps ill be doing with 24.

almost. got the new brace welded in and the windsheild is back as of about 1 hr ago.just have to put the rest of the new batts in and build the new amp rack. gonna be a long week considering i have to work sat. and sun. see ya'll in daytona. maybe it'd be easier to dropp the baffle for the 18s back in then i dont need to rebuild the amp rack.

hey dave! long time no see. if you want to see come to st. louis, i'll put you to work,lol. wish i had a few more days. had to pull ALL the batteries today. found 3 bad so far and am not even half way thru. hoping to get it back together, but wiring 90+ batts takes a while and i still have to build the new amp rack and wire up 24 amps. if anyones bored i can sure use a hand.
