I will try contacting several reps and several retailers in the michigan market to see if we can generate some excitement.

Can somebody check on the huge block party that is held in flint michigan. I think we did a show two years ago there.

Also check in with your local retailers - you know - the place you buy your car stereo from - see if they have any plans.

[Cool]

Car tunes seemed interested in doing monster jam again maybe you could talk to them also, you did a few excellent shows there in the past and they seem a good candidate for holding shows again.

Sam I appreciate any effort you can put toward this.
The car audio shops around here are bunk, most are unauthorized dealers and the two that are authorized are unknowledgable or lazy.

Example, I was looking to buy 2 sets of high end components (dynaudio) and asked to listen to them. Response I got was they were not in the sound board so I could not listen to them. I then ask the salesperson to have someone install them in the board so I can listen to them. He replies that I should leave and come back in a week or two to listen to them.

Result, I bought 2 sets of MB Quart from another competitor within 2 days.

I was talking to another shop (with the alarm expert) about my alarm, gave him detailed info on what I had and what I wanted to do. I asked if they could do it, he didn't recognize Clifford alarms and said that my Chevy Truck required a special bypass for auto start. Seems to me that he might have at least heard of Clifford alarms and that maybe they should stock basic parts but who knows. After 5 mins of talking he than asked "what kind of alarm is it?" I just hung up at that point. I am driving to Ohio this weekend to Stereo in dash to get the work done.

Mich needs some quality shops.

Around where I live there arn't any GOOD stereo shop's. I'm auto tech(just got a job in a new town),once word got round some one could fix all the hacked up install's I was screwed(like I don't have enought to deal with) RAIDO-SHACK suck's at installing amp's/battery's and any thing else that has wire's. Lower MI need's more compentent shop's,and one's that don't charge a lot, people around here are CHEAP !!!! I also get tired of seeing only MTX and Kicker, there are more than 2 brand's.

Yep July 14th Taylor 2x event.

No shops give a F*ck anymore! I sent info to every single listed stereo shop within 100 miles of me and I never even got 1 reply! NOTHING! Over 106 shops and no hype or buzz back at all. I was the only major Db drag event in Michigan last year. I had help from my boss and 1 local stereo shop and a little kicker from my buddys at Maxxsonics! Huge! My point is nobody cares anymore it seems. Why I have no clue? Bad times I guess? Last years show was great but still took a 800 dollar loss out of my own pocket. It would be nice to break even some day but what can you do.
2 Huge car shows this year again and all the fixins in between! Bikini Contests and Burnout Contests are a must! Should be a great time!

Jason Muns

Ill keep ya updated!
