Yeah Rob is always running nspl with me(didn't mean to leave you out). Mapquest will be the easiest way to get lost when going out of town. These gps systems now are around $100 bucks so I cant really see a good reason not to have one if you do any traveling.

vznavigator on verizion phones, a good sense of parrallel and perpindicular works well for me, well Indiana roads usually run like grids, plus I've been to about every city within 3 hrs of home

Yeah I remember the good ole days before having gps. Now I rely on it so much, I actually use it out of habit even when I know where something is. I use Tom Tom, MS streets and trips and if those fail, I use the trusty multi map the Ingles guide.

after talking to another Silverado owner I found out a nice bit of info today I was talking to him and he said that instead of installing a battery behind my seats near the amp that I could get the stock auxillary battery tray from a Silverado with the Duramax so thats the new plan it will bold right up in the stock location up by the firewall on the passengers side

A wall would be your best bet, and I am always for adding more power. Like Rob suggested I would pick up another BTL and save a few bucks.
You are beating the hell out of that car as it is, I can see a few windshield replacements and some sunroof leakage in your future if you go the wall route.

Yea, the car is definitely going to take a beating if I dont do something
And I have an old-model btl, I wouldnt really want to mix it with a new one...and besides, the lead-slap on the suspension is pretty bad, kinda just want to get rid of it and get the new ones that wont have that issue...
The wall is tempting but I might be going another route, we'll see

Or maybe subs forwards, port still in the rear window..
Or maybe subs further up near the window firing up, with the port lower firing forwards with a port-wall for swapping ports for comps and daily...? hmm
And the enclosure would have to extend into the trunk...this is just for a visual
