kevin- test subject #1 -.080" , test subject #2-.105" , test subject # 3- .137" Test subject # 1 appears as if will work great if it wasnt for the 1 problem , test subjects #2 and # 3 have both been ran at much higher power levels , and much further into clipping(tested with an o-scope), multiple times , than test subject # 1 was tested at. test subjects # 2 and # 3 have N E V E R had the same type failure as # 1 has experienced 2 times in 3 hits. I'd really like to get a micrometer on someone elses test subject # 1 to see what the deal is.(theres obviously got to be a difference) Anyway , I'd really like to think that if test subject #1 had the same diameter stuff as test subject #3 has , it would work great.,,,Brent

Dear sir , that was the english(u.s.) version , pehaps you were wanting the european version:kevin- test subject #1 -.2.05 mm , test subject #2-2.67 mm , test subject # 3- 3.48 mm Test subject # 1 appears as if will work great if it wasnt for the 1 problem , test subjects #2 and # 3 have both been ran at much higher power levels , and much further into clipping(tested with an o-scope), multiple times , than test subject # 1 was tested at. test subjects # 2 and # 3 have N E V E R had the same type failure as # 1 has experienced 2 times in 3 hits. You need 1 ohm coils.
Hey John...I'm not doubting you , I just can't help but think it would work alot better with the larger leads...We honestly did do a realworld a/b comparison and they seemed a little more power hungry(probably due to the larger coil) , but it looks as if we could really stand on them , we'd probably see a gain. The windings on the coil certainly seem substantial , and not even a hint of burning them.Anyway , nice piece.
