I guess the amount of current we are having to pass thru the fuses is too much for the elements in the multiple small fuses to deal with , we just got it back together and tested every combination , and still using the 250 with 1 of the 80's is the hot setup for us. We did like ...hmmmm...well...over 160 dB [Wink] ....Brent

its a 2 day event. brad qualified 1st with 164.? with 330 amps of fusing ( MECA ).

that 166.9 is a hell of a long way from 161.2 at the show at the shop im tryin to put up a pic of the subaru with only 1 4kw in it but my computer sucks

Well, that wasnt any fun

Just got to the store, trying to recover from the cold and flu finals, all I brought back was a nasty cold

Went to run through, shorted the deck out on the 16v bussbar by accident, which I guess also weakened the fuse, got the deck working, burped it 2 clicks down, weakend fuse blew,,did a 157 something, ,,,,,show over......loaded on the trailer,stopped and bought some cold medicine.

Kinda disapointing,,,since it was the best prepared I have ever been for a show and had it in the bag,,just goes to show that sometimes the car and equipment is ready, but the human factor screws it all up. My bad luck and screw ups in SPL at MECA finals continues. This is the 3rd or 4th time either me or someone on my team has screwed up at MECA and gave away a WC.


Congrats to Rob Eldridge for winning 1st in the class and BOS with Memphis 4Kws with a 161.9!. Way to go Rob!
