Hiyo everyone, i havent posted on this forum in a long time, but i've still been reading it! I'm likely going to be relocating to tampa next summer and I'm hoping to have an idea of where to find employment. I've got 5 years experience in the mobile field as installer, shop manager, and as of right now i manage the entire car department here at state college, PA. All of my work has been at 2 independant shops. I'd like to find a reputable independant shop to work for who understands the value of a truly professional installer. Anyone from FL care to point me to a few good places?

Divine Sounds would be the first place I would tell you to go, then there is Buzz Off, there are a couple more, but definately Divine Sounds. Look for Will Alfonso here on termpro, he is an installer there, and would be able to help you out some more!

I would have to agree that Divine Sounds would be the place to go. Buzz Off is a nice place, but Divine seems better. Mr. Fleming, you didn't happen to work at Sound Advice on Dale Mabry did you?? I used to work there. Just wondering.

+1 on Divine. Great guys. I lived in Tampa for 5 years and have delt with many local shops. I always liked the guys at AVE in Clearwater too. Something to look into.
Shawn, where in Newberry. I just moved to Bronson to go back to school. I know a few people from Newberry. Nice to meet you. Posts: 202 | From: Tampa | Registered: Dec 2003

Filtor Im between Newberry, and Jonesville out in the country off of 26. Hit me up if you ever want to get dirty, always working on something, whether it be my van or someone elses car. Why Bronson?

Wow. I took some time off. Anyway, I would love to get together. Ah to see how the other half lives. The wife and I chose Bronson b/c her parents live here. They needed some help on the farm and I wanted to finish my degree. Win Win I suppose. The rent is awesome. Not an idea situation, especially traveling to Gainesville for school everyday, but it gives me time to tune my system, Posts: 202 | From: Tampa | Registered: Dec 2003

Absolutely true. I had a nieghbor threaten me the other day. After washing my car, I play some music to shake out any hiding excess water. He flipped on me. Something tells me he won't be coming back though.
Calusa....Where in Tampa do you live. I moved here from WestChase. I loved the area. I have lived all over the area. I can't wait to move back and get a good high paying job to support my car audio addiction.

My neighbors are usually pretty cool considering they are at least 5 acres away, from my new shop or house! That is unless its 1 am and Im testing the van! Chris give me about a week, and we can get together sometime, go have a drink or something!

Cool, classes/finals are next week so that works out perfectly. I beat up my 2 batteries and am in the process of getting new and possibly adding an isolator. Hopefully will be done by then. Did you get my email with the cell#?
