I'm looking for an entry level job in an installation bay in the Fort Worth area. I'm 26, and have no professional experience, but have been installing car audio for going on 10 years now, for myself, friends, and family. I have never installed an alarm, or any type of video, but i catch on very quickly. I consider myself to be a pretty handy person, and recently started to compete with my own system. I have learned alot over the years, but realize i still have alot to learn, so i will not go into this with a "know-it-all" attitude. I have applied at numerous places around town, but because i'm not MECP certified, and have no professional experience, no one will give me a chance. This is my passion, and i'm looking at this as a career, i just need to get my foot in the door.

Thank you for the reply. I just took a job as a residential electrician's helper from a company here in town. Just out of curiousity, let me know what kind of opportunity you had for me.
