Qualifications Over the 14 years I have been involved with almost every aspect of the audio industry. There is one that has eluded me thus far ( manufacturing). EMPLOYMENT 2002-2004 Sales Staff, Sound Central Ltd. St. Louis This position was a change of pace for me being in a new market . I had never worked with home theater on this level before. I worked the custom install division and inside sales. Working for a 30 year veteran of our industry was exciting and challenging. Duties included theater design and installation, custom car system designs and integrations inventory control . This was my first time selling automotive security systems and dealing with the problems that plague the 12 volt industry.
2000-2001 National Sales Rep, C.P.S Distributing Kansas City. This to was another first for me going from a very small retail/ service location. Cold calling dealers for the entire marine industry to set them up to sell Sony Marine audio . In addition to account maintenance for boat builders. 9/11 put a huge damper on my job and I was let go.
1997-2000 Sales Staff/Service tech. Electronic Service Center, Overland Park Ks. Checking in products for service, customer relations . Speaker sales and service product management and purchasing agent. the Electronic Service Center was strictly a home audio center when I arrived . I introduced car audio to this establishment several excusive brands not just brand available from distributors this was a new and growing division when I left to further pursue my career. 1994-1998 Sales staff/ installer , Loud and Clear Kansas City Mo. My first real break into the inner workings of the 12 volt industry. I started my first competition car and was buying equipment from then at a retail level. Before I completed the car I was asked to help out one day and just never left, building several competition cars on my own and being heavily involved with the design and building of a 1990 Dodge Caravan. This install included 18 15 inch woofers , 6 6.5 inch component sets, and 23 amplifiers also 6 batteries. This was my favorite install ever second on this list was my car a 1982 Toyota Celica with 8 12 inch woofers. Duties here included customer service and relations.
