what brands does your store carry? is your store more likely to push low-end stuff on customers or do they shoot for what the customers' goals are? does your store promote customer discounts for repeat business or do you just sell at sticker price? does your store offer help to anyone off the street asking questions or just to people who buy from the store? what are you looking for in a sales person, just a great sales person who dont know product or a salesperson who knows the product and can determine better matches for the customers needs and wants? does your store bash products other than the ones you carry? what is the bottom dollar you hire at and the top dollar you have hired at? would being sponsored by companies of products that you dont sell deter your decisions on hiring anyone? thanks for your time. shane christiansen

what brands does your store carry? -Image Dynamics, Clarion, Digital Designs (limited), Audiobahn, Stinger, Compustar, Memphis, Zapco, and we are in the process of picking up another major line to replace Rockford and add some more headunits.
is your store more likely to push low-end stuff on customers or do they shoot for what the customers' goals are? -We are not low end orientated, however we do cater to just about everyone
does your store promote customer discounts for repeat business or do you just sell at sticker price? -I don't believe repeat business is built upon price.
does your store offer help to anyone off the street asking questions or just to people who buy from the store? -Depends upon the situation. Time constraints affect everyone.
what are you looking for in a sales person, just a great sales person who dont know product or a salesperson who knows the product and can determine better matches for the customers needs and wants? -knowledge of car audio, video, security, performance accessories, etc, proper sales techniques, honesty, integrity, ability to adapt to a multitude of clientelle and desire to better the company.
does your store bash products other than the ones you carry? -We don't need to bash any one or any product. We let our work speak for itself.
what is the bottom dollar you hire at and the top dollar you have hired at? -$7 + commission (after training) at the bottom. Top is undetermined. We will be changing to a much more individualized commission basis in the future, right now it is a store or "team" based commission.
would being sponsored by companies of products that you dont sell deter your decisions on hiring anyone? -No, however we would greatly prefer an employee car be filled with our own gear. Of course we would not want other gear to be shown off during the normla course of business. I have worked with all of our companies regarding competition used product and I highly recommend employees take the time to set up their own cars. Our facilities are available for use and they are VERY well stocked and an excellent place to work at. Help with "sponsorships" from our own companies can be worked out. As you already know, several of the companies we deal with are the best of the best when it comes to product.
thanks for your time. -Your welcome, Jeff

The immediate population base is 50,000 people. We have a university that has about 13,000 students.
I would think Souix City would be a similar.
I do not have exact dollar figures. I can tell you it is considerably less than a place like the Twin Cities but more than the really small towns in the midwest.

hey jeff, just curious to see what products you used to replace the RF gear. Orion would be a great choice since if you wanted to sell any other DEi product you would be able to. this year's orion product is rock solid and customer service is top notch to me. plus the Viper 790xv alarms are vera vera nice!
