I am in the PGH PA area. I do car audio rapairs, and have for almost 10 years now. Most of my work is aquired by word of mouth. I am looking to take on some extra work, as I do this part time for extra cash.
I have been doing repairs for friends/family and have been referred to for work by employees of 21st century sound & security, Safe and Sound, and Extreme sound & security of PGH.
Most of my work is done for Extreme Sound & Security, refrences can be aquired upon proper request by potential customers only.
My specialties include:
AMPLIFIERS = All repairs, some refurbishment of external fixtures (Terminals, screws, RCA's (For you MTX guys), etc.)
Speakers = Surround replacment, sealing gaskets, Lead wires (non-woven)
Head Units = Internal amplification, RCA's (An old JVC favorite), and faceplate lighting.
Rates can be enjoyed as low as 25.00-30.00 flat rate labor Plus parts. I do NOT make money on parts, you pay what I pay for them.
This is PART TIME, for extra cash, so I am not looking to get "swamped" with work. 10-15 extra clients per week would be nice. Turn around is typicaly 1 week from repair authorization. Repairs will only be held for two weeks after the pickup call is made. At this point you will start being charged for storage. This is my home, not a warehouse. I provide cheap revivment of your musical enjoyment, I will not tolerate abuse.
Warranty is not provided. What is provided is guaranteed thorough testing before release of a product. I may even offer suggestions as to why the unit failed, to help you prevent future failures. If a unit comes back I will be FAIR about determining fault. If I find I made a mistake, I will fix it again FOC.
I am in NO way an employee, affiliate, or representitive of any independant businesses mentioned herein.
Under certain circumstance, I may place a bid on a unit if the customer abandons repairs of the unit. In laymens terms - if you decide yu don't want it repaired, and I have an interest, I may make you an offer on it.
