Just wondering where I can find some info on how international competitors go about qualifying for World Finals?
ATM we are looking at a system re-build that may or may not put us into the top 15 of the world in our class (SS 3-4) We currently have a score which puts us in 21st place (on the new metres) and are looking at a serious power upgrade of approximately 4x. If we were to get the necessary scores to place in the top 15 (which is only another 3dB) then what is the process for qualifying. Currently there are no multi-point events in Australia and the total competition scene is still relatively small so points accumulation is difficult (although I am led to believe that international competitors do not need to acrue points?)
Anyone know more about this or where I can find some info?
Thanks in advance for the help...

quote: The dBDRA reserves the right to invite international competitors to participate in the World Finals even if the competitors being invited don’t meet the minimum requirements as specified in this section (9) of the rulebook.

And from debates from last years... top 15 competitors from American continent will stay, it will be 15 + international ones in each class.

I'm prety sure that we will not be attending this year but who knows for next year. The vehicle we just completed is a SS3-4 with four 15's and 20,000w. There's still some improvements and test and tuning to be done but it's looking like a very promising vehicle.
We use this as both a SPL Competition vehicle and a promotional vehicle so unfortunatley the biggest car show of the year here in Australia coincides with World Finals so we will be attending the one here...
But next year who knows? Possibly onto even BIGGER and better projects to REALLY compete rather than just be Top 10!
