Hello Wayne I am an Australian who has competed in,runand organized Db Drag Racing events in this country and I am Discusted at the way my fellow counryites have treated you and your followers. Please may you know that this is only a very small percentages veiw, all the serious compedetors do not have this view and are 100% behind Angelo and dBdra australia. Certain members of CAA have handled themselves very poorly and have jumped to conclusions and blamed the wrong people and not listened to what is being said.To QUOTE an Australian "shame shame shame".Please xcept my appologies on beharf of the loyal Db Dragers in this country hope this has not harmed your veiw of this counry on our superb DBDA reps...

Thank you for your kind comments. We are working hard to provide a large number of quality events in Australia this season. Please give my regards to your "mates".

I am sorry but that really is laughable. I would love to come to one of these events with the loyal DB Drag Racers in Australia. At Final Battle last year (2002) there was not a whole lot of action at the SPL Comp besides that of CAA members. I recall about 3 or 4 other people/teams that were not of CAA Origins.
I also agree that some of the comments made on here towards Wayne are over the top. But you have to expect that from a bunch of guys on a keyboard who are pissed off. CAA can't control it's members from making comments on these boards and I apologised for that already. But you have to look at it from the point of view that if we walked onto these forums and told Wayne that we were hear to shutdown Db Drag Racing. I don't think any of you would have great words to say about us.
As for SPL Feened I am not sure where you and the loyal DB Drag Racers hang out but I have certainly not heard of you and I would appreciate it if you contacted me privately when there is DB Drag Racing events happening anywhere in Australia. That way I may pass on the message to CAA members. Otherwise the perception will remain from a CAA point of view that there are no events by DB Drag Racing in the country.
Cheers Gordon.
P.S SPL Feened I have Private Messaged you with my email address. Cheers.

a few more events and hopefully some more to be added. It is getting bigger and bigger. I find it funny u expect one man to be responsible for all comps in one country. You all want more comps yet I didn't see a record turnout at the ones I have been to. Growth takes time, I am certain Angelo could put on 30 events this year all around the country and then file for bankruptcy in 2004.
I have keept out of this CAAdB/Db Drag discussion on termpro for my own reasons and as I don't have all the facts(like alot of people) it is hard to make a fair judgement. I am happy to tho if all the appropiate people would send all relivant documents to me
The way some acted was poor IMO. We all are older enough to have a civil discussion, but yes tempers flare and give a man a keyboard and he is invincble.
I was hoping to see CAAdB and Db Drag grow side by side each other and form a great SPL scene down here in Australia. If that happens is yet to be decided.
But lets just get back to burping and head back to the lanes.

No idea who you are SPLfeened, but I too would like to know where you dB Drag mates hang out?
It's all sorted out now, CAAdB and dB Drag are co-existing, which DOES mean, the competitors get more comps! and thats the main thing! I will be attending both, all there is about it
