2) Find a CD (sorry no burned CD’s, no test tones, or sine waves) that has a least 30 seconds of bass. Try songs that have a steady bass beat. Use songs that sound loud in your vehicle. You may play a bass CD that has music ( not just test tones or sine waves). Your score will increase with strong bass music and your score will decrease with no bass music or pauses.

The part that says you can use a bass CD that has music... does that mean

A. that on one track of the cd it has music and on a nother track it can have sine waves
so since the cd does have music on it you can play the sine waves, test tones track??

or

B. that the track you pick must have music on it but its all right if in the backround there are sine waves or test tones as long as there is music present (words or higher hz stuff)

you must use the music track off that cd, not the sine waves.

sounds like the bass mechanics cd. will work well if your sealed, not if your ported. I still think you should find something that fits more of your res freq. bass mechanic cd's have their main freq listed in the song titles on the back, so that might help your selection.

that song only matters if your system is built to utilize it. its about the same as saying have you tried track 46 yet to a person in the regular spl classes.
