At the kendalville, Indiana show on new years we held bass race at the conclusion of dbdrag.

alot of people left (we had 20 show up for dbdrag) when the show was done. but we still had 6 people ready for bass race.

kent convinced me to play too [Smile]

i loved bass race in 04 when sam first introduced it, and i ran it a few times early in the year.

after my wall was built, the car has never had music played it in, so i was bit nervous, but kent was doing it too, so i figured, ok what the heck [Smile]

he and i were both shooting for 139.9 class since our systems burp pretty comparable in the low to mid 50's

we both burp almost the same frequency, so he loaned me a cd to use, that he had already tested in his car.

in qualifying kent did a 139.3

i was holding pretty steady at 139 when 15 seconds my amps when in protect [Smile] this system has never played music before lol

well the final 15 seconds of silence dropped me down to a 119.7 lmao

the tricky part, during eliminations, was to try and keep the system turned waaaay down and not break out of the bracket.

knowing the system was fully able to break out, it was fun trying to maintain a good, low score.

i ended up winning with a 119.3 but man was i stressin lolol

overall it was a good show both the dbdrag and the bass race part.

and it renewed my love for bass race. cant wait for my new build [Big Grin]

technically mark didnt get a last run. he was the only one in his class.

but i set it up for him to have a bye run, cuz he wanted to try and go louder.

but he broke 150, and in doing so, the computer dq'd him, because he broke out of his bracket. so the score wasnt recorded.

I heard it was a blazer, 2 15" alpine type Rs, and a orion 2500, not walled fireing back.

beware, we(the neterlands...)are gonna do bassrace also, and i know that there are sevral teams building for it...

It can be done with the right Equipment and right tuning of a box just wont be easy in a street car/van.
