i'm thinking a musical extreme van is the only way that can happen, i mean seeing some of the loudest musical guys out there sitting in the the low to middish 50 thats a big hump to climb to hit the 160 point

My van is an extended e350 so it's kinda large with snow plow coil springs in front and extra heavy duty leaf springs.

I have a crapload of sound deadning and interior mdf etc. so it isn't quite an extreme interior but it is qiute modified.

As far as batteries 10 Caterpillar 8d's at 1500 cca each and 132 lbs. each with a 550 amp alt.

Amps 2 6000 gti's.

So at first I will check it out with 1 sub and 2 Crowns and if I get what I'm looking for then another sub and 2 more amps for icing on the cake.

Not that this is a call out but I look foreward to seeing what "serious SPL" can be done with an unproven woofer especialy if you are searching for that 160db Bass Race. Remember currently everyone in the top 153-154db are anywhere between 10,000 to 20,000 watts rated and most are actualy running low impedance putting them truthfully between 15k and 30k total system power. And if you are going to ask about me yes it does.

For the doors I already have pods with 2 8's and a set of components that do get loud and sound nice.

I pretty much know what I'm up against but I'm more than ready in all aspects besides everything else about my van defies convention so should the sound system.

Like I said above if one sub works like I think it will the second sub and 2 more amps won't be far behind then I will have 48~k max watts + 2650~k on the front stage but who's counting [Wink] [Big Grin]

hmm... 30 seconds of music... havnt tested that yet... might see what it will do for fun [Smile] Anybody know a song centered at 60hz lol?

Looking through some of my deathmatch test papers it looks like 160 would be possible with the right song [Wink]

i use a program called spectrum analyer pro ( www.pas-products.com )

u play the song on ur computer, and it tells u all the freq it is playing, u can zoom in down to 20hz-100hz and it shows u the peak note

good luck on something with constant bass at 60hz, thats gonna be some weird music for that high of a note

u could always make ur own music, and sell it on amazon.com, that makes it commercially available... [Smile]
