Well this is my second attept at the elusive 4th order bandpass. This is built for the other organization (doors open). I just recently found out that my build 4th order build last year was more built for Bass Race but I competed in Street Beat (door open) and lost some 8-10 db by opening the doors. I never tested it Drag Style! Anywho, I'm building for Street Beat again but the port will be centered as I am told that this will fair much better with the door opened. First, each one of the 4 18" subs will have its own enclosure. Each enclosure is approx. 1.6^3. I don't have pictures of the inside of the boxes but there is a lot of work on the inside. Probably more than I have ever done to the inside of a box.
Next is the framing which took some time. Yesterday, I was able to get the layers done. When finished the ported side will be approx. 54^3. I will hopefully be ready for testing by the middle of the week.

don't worry about cosmetics too much @ the beginning . being pretty doesn't get first place . i would waste so much time on cosmetics only to change it all when i had to test more . good luck and don't for get to ask for advise a lot from everyone !

Today was much better. Found a little trick that works for me. I was able to match the number I did with 4 subs yesterday with only 1 sub today. I feel much better today, lol. Anyone who thinks they're gonna build a bandpass wall and get it right on the first try has got to be very, very lucky.

Im working on trying to get an older camaro or firebird for bass race just starting to have time to go out and look at cars now. Trying to figure out what year i should go with.
