Guys I'm trying my damndest to find a new bass race vehicle but I'm not going to pay 3k+ for a mini truck that looks like ass and all the rednecks around here love their nissans/s10s/isuzus WAYYYY too much.

Has anyone seen any old(er) mini trucks around their area? I'd rather not drive more then 400 miles if I could help it but might if I found the right vehicle.

I'm not asking to buy YOUR vehicle so this post should NOT be closed. Just trying to get some help from people that also compete in bass race

International Scout; simple older truck with a flat windshield, and fair amount of room for a modest wall, should be cheap and uncommon.

Or a lada niva.

Why don't you do a sedan, four door trunk car? Everybody does vans and trucks (even though Astro's are my fave, there are a lot of them) why not do something a little bit different?

dude? EXPEDITION!? WTF! wall that or just use the tons of room u have in the back, or fold the seats flat and use that extra room, i've done all of those ideas.

just build the wall in the biggest suv u can get ur hands on and tune it at 40hz. it wont knock ur socks completely off at 33-36hz but it will crush ur windpipe at 40-50hz...jeezy/lil jon...muhahaha

Look into older model 87-92 mazda b2000 series extend cab pick up's. 1500-2000 buck in good shape with high miles. Really good motors that last. Take a look at some pics of the inside and you'll see why that sucker is loud.

Thats what i've been looking for man

The rednecks around here really love their old pickups...like 3-3500 for a truck with 250k miles

I've decided I'm just going to build an Astro. They can look badass I won't have to worry about cutting it out and building in front of the boot. Will have more room...and will still have less then I'd have in a truck and snugtop

exactly brad

For 4500 I can have the van, a badass set of 20s/22s, body kit, and have almost all of my equipment.

Then I can put a pimp ass paint job on it and do some crazy install in the rear also and end up with less then 9/10k in the entire thing.

Also I'm putting a 12,500 limit on this vehicle. I will not spend more then 12,500 on this entire install/vehicle/equipment whatever.

What made me sick about my truck is I kept putting more cash into it and I don't want to end up doing that this go around
