Yeah I understand you get 28 seconds and that's all. This is like a I told you so. Does Sam set up have a delay also?

Sorry David if you feel insulted I'm going by what I seen is the honest truth.

no u get the full 30 seconds, u just gotta know when it starts counting

about a half second after u see and hear it say ready is when the 30 seconds starts. i always had a good start and didnt red light once starting it then

the software isnt messed up, its just confusing until u know how it works.

On mine the clock doesn't start untill 28 seconds. I'm not sure what happens if the termlab senses pressure before that.

I think competitors should be able to see 30 seconds and know when to go without having to understand how it works. It should be simplier.

Better yet, get rid of the reaction time and you wont have any of this problem.

Steve reaction time is what makes Bass race exciting. Why not just turn your monitor where the competitors can see it. I have been to more than one show where the monitor was visible and this eleviated all delay problems. Are you so concerned with the loudest guy being the winner is a must.

The latest version of the software (5.10.28) fixes the delay problems (I hope). The 31 to 30 second interval is the time the meter is looking for a red light. Competitors should not start until GO. If they start at 31, they will red light.
