Super Street
1-2, 3-4, 5-8, 9+

Extreme
1-2, 3-4, 5-8, 9+ 1-9 amps, 9+ 10+ amps

We have too many classes...Lets not give everyone a chance to win...Make them work for it...Now I am not against other classes for local shows, but the above is all that is needed for finals...

Invites...DO AWAY WITH POINTS ALTOGHER... Although on the surface, points sounds like a good idea, it opens a door for abuse...My suggestion is offer one (1) tripple point show per regoin and then invite the loudest 10 cars in each class...

regional musts...

1.) Must have an official judge...one who attends ALL regoinal events...(ie Brantley)

2.) Must use the same meter on ALL regoinal events...

3.) Regoinals are to be held at the END of the season...Per say One per week for the last 5 weeks of the season...Allow of coarse 2 weeks between the last regoinal and finals so that invites can be sent...

4.) You MUST compete at finals in the same vehicle and the same class as you were invited for...

This method allows for 9 classes with 10 people in each class...Then add 10 invites for other countries and that makes an even 100...THEN AND ONLY THEN CAN DB DRAG "TRUELY" SAY THAT IT HAS THE LOUDEST 100 VEHICLES ON THE PLANET AND REALLY MEAN IT...

POINTS ARE A WASTE...THE MIC SAYS IT ALL AND THE METER DON'T LIE!

As for local shows, they could add street classes with other limitations for local competitors without hindering the integrity dB Drag...As for attendance...Points obviously didn't make the big dogs come out of hiding, it just gave the little guy a chance to knock the big guys out of finals...Those whom want to compete will go no matter what...points or no points...those who don't won't go even if points are required...then you either tell them no, you can't compete at finals and lose interest due to lack of heavy hitters or you let them compete and the little guy who thinks that all of his hard work meant something has to meet the big dog at finals who didn't "earn" his spot...Either way, points don't work...My vote is for MAX CERTIFIED SPL BASED SOLELY ON REGOINAL EVENTS....

KEEP IT FAIR AND WE WILL KEEP IT LOUD...GREY AREAS AREN'T FAIR...THEY ARE SUBJECT TO THE MOOD OF THE DAY AND HE WHO COMPLAINS THE LOUDEST WINS!!!

Lets "KEEP" dB Drag #1 in sound offs...

This sounds like a pretty good idea Shock. But what if someone blows all their woofers at the 3x event and hits like a 130 but is capable of doing impressive numbers? Maybe there should be like 2 or 3 3x events per region just in case. That way we would get a max regional spl and an average regional spl. Just a thought.

pretty good idea, just need more than 1 event per region, maybe 2 or 3 over the season, so you have a second chance in case of a problem. i also feel that ther should be a class for people who don't want to "destroy" their vehicle with a wall- maybe a single non-wall class. how ever many woofers you can fit under the level of the side windows, no structural mods, 2 amps max(or 4?), have to keep backseat(if has factory), no electrical system limit. there's only so much room anyway, so 2 woofers will likely be as loud as 4 and as 12. power is limited, so 10 woofers won't have an advantage. would be an interesting class.
