I have a chance to get 4 of them for 150 a peice and i want to know how well they will perform with 3 c^ft ported to 35 hz each. Will they retain good sq and be able to take their rated power? thanks for any help

Yes. Do a 3.0 vented box, with the port 15.50" long, 2.75" tall and 25" deep. That will tune it to 35hz. It will still offer good SQ, while give better SPL than sealed.
With a sub-sonic filter, you can still put 500+ watts to it. Without, power wattage drops to 300 watts.
