Hi Alma.. I was looking to build my 87' Bronco 4wd up soon.. What kind of lift and tires are you running? I love how it sits and looks.. Did you guys run into any problems doing the lift? Is is all Suspenion or is there some Body lift? Thanks for the help, keep up the good work..

We had 6 inch lifts on the bronco - extra leaf spring, and air bags. The tires are 35 inch super boggers and the rims are boyds. We also replaced the original rearend with a 9 inch ford, locked in low range, and that is all steel reinforced.
This worked ok until we replaced the truck bed - the welds broke and the bed with all the weight fell and blew out the air bags. Instead of replacing the bags, the frame was welded in place which makes it difficult at times traveling - to solve that problem - we now load the bronco backwards so the weight rests closer to the middle of the trailer.
The bronco weights 12,500 lbs and most of that is on the rear end. So, transporting that beast can be a real challenge at times.
The 6 inch life and extra springs brings the bronco up to a nice level. I needed a step ladder to get in - the extra weight brings it down to what you see in the pictures.
