Thats alright. So is the 1200.1 power under rated? What's Kickers MSRP for it?

Why does Kicker amps cost so much? I know you get what you pay for, but I mean alot of people dont have $1000 for a amp. I know there amps are good an all but I've always wondered why they were so high. Do you work for Kicker? I know it says Stillwater OK on your location thing. But I was just wondering why there amps are so expensive. I know if I had $2500 for amps that I would go with kicker that way my whole car would be Kicker.

Craig, I am not selling products - first. But you need to check out the prices of other products of equal quality. You remember I have told people many times that there is no best of anything and that products are a matter of individual taste, preference, and budget?

It is still true. You asked about the price, which I would have suggested you check out with your local dealer. Car audio products are expensive. I am trying to remember the retail for my PPI 2350s - I think they were in the 1,500 dollar range. Anyone?

Again, you need to do your research and get what is best for you and your wallet.

By the way, Thanks Tracy. I would have gone to you for that information. And for general information, Tracy is employed at Kicker and when you want information - Tracy is the Man!

I agree with that 100%. Tracy is the sole reason I decided to give L7s another chance, and I'm very glad I did! Great guy!

Thanks,

If i remember correctly it was in the $1,600 range per 2350. There still selling for about $500 to this day. The other amp PPI made that was up there in price was the PPI PC21400, that one costs $1,500. Basically same amps only the 2350 was higher powered at 1ohm (i think 1600x1 @1ohm) and the PC21400 was 1400x1 @4ohm. Both amps were sweet and still are. I'm actually looking for one to keep when they become really rare, its kinda like wine. Certain wines cost more with aging, amps are almost the same way.

sometimes i think too much.
