I am going to have cataract surgery tomorrow and am not sure how long it will be before I am functioning. I have been told it's just a few days and I should be up better than ever. Heck, anything would be better than now, except no vision at all!
My doctor says it's nothing serious, they just remove my 65 year old lens and replace it with a contact. We will see.

Just wanted to say get better soon. I watched that clip of the Ripley's Show and every time I see it, I'm amazed by that Bronco and you. Take care.

Ma hope the surgery went well. everyone is doing great up here in idaho. hope all is well down there.
Surgery was yesterday - my left eye now has a contact and with luck, I should be able to see better than ever.
I was very frightened over this operation. Fear of the unknown can be something else, but when you cannot see - you just go for it.
I went into the out-patient surgery facility in Mesa, Arizona yesterday morning. It took a while to get things sit up, but the actual implant operation took about 10 minutes. I was sort of in never-never land, but aware of everything that happened. No pain, piece of cake.
The bandage was removed today. New glasses cannot be done for a couple of weeks until my eye gets healed. Right now, I am typing without glasses. Yesterday morning, I could not even see this monitor without glasses!
LOL, I feel like dancing, but I am afraid I will fall and mess up my eye!!!!
Again, thanks for your concern and good wishes. I love you all.

'ma, good to hear you're up and well. Also glad you know how to type without looking at the keyboard or monitor. Ahhh back in the old days when it was typing class on ancient daisy wheel and ball typewriters not this computerized word-processing stuff.
Funny how I nearly failed that class, best then was 23 wpm. Now I do upward of 85.
