So Alma, what is the prediction for the new system?? Higher DB's than before. I think you did a good job with going with a company that has a totally new product on the market. By you using it alone will increase sales beyond belief. Keep up the good work and hope to see you at a few Mo. shows.

Hello, first of all - you know that the bronco operated at 117hz - now we are working to get it below 70hz - its possible with the new install and products - of course - I want as much as I can get - but you have to be reasonable about this one. We hope to get it has high as we had the bronco in 1998 - 173.9 (I think that is the number) at a lower frequency. We are making no promises - only that it will be loud, legal and always open for all to see. I guess we all will just have to wait and see what those kickers can do in the bronco. We didnt know what the ppi stuff could do in 1996 -just a call hours before we had to leave for Greenville asking if 164 sounded ok. Answer - load that thing up and lots see what it will do on a real mic. The same will probably be true for this new install. LOL - its almost like Forest Gump - Turn that know and never know what you will get. Until its done on Waynes mic in front of db drag racers - its just talk!

One thing to keep in mind here is we no longer see those high numbers. It seems the mics are tougher in the last year. If you notice, I don't think we actually saw a dB drag score above 170 at SBN. Although I am sure the Bronco will be among the the "Big Dogs"...

Mic's are tougher....but....Look at some people out there. We have mdified 2 and 4 sub cars doing 168+. Then we also have 2 woofer no mod cars doing 157's and 4 doing 162's. So its possible to get a HUGE number just takes more work.

Never say never:-)

I agree with Proaudio150, never say never. Larry Benton did a 170.2db 2 weeks ago and Fred Wright, Jr did a 170.1db about a month ago. The season just started so I wouldn't be surprised to see mid 70's before the year is out.
