ok.. i have seen this alot.. but i have no clue on how to do it nor do i know what the technical term for it is eaither. ok.. is what it is.. is like lettering put into a vinyl covering on a enclosure.. it looks kinda puffy... like it is done with a cotton of some sort.. i hope that explains it.. any help would be much appricated. Thanks, oh yea and if anyone has anyweb sites on this.. i would really really appricate it also.. Thanks again

it is like raised lettering in the vinyl if that helps any.. and i was lookin in auto sound and security and they had a article in there that had that done in the install... it was covered with naugahyde.. and they said they made it with foam... i just need to know what foam.. and how they acually get it to be so defined in the vinyl

Many use 1/8" foam, or scrap vinyl, or (my favorite) dynamat. Glue the product down to the surface, cut away the excess and vinyl over it. The key to ANY vinyl job is to use the BEST contact cement adhesive you can find!! Yes this is the one place it pays to spend extra!
Using a heat gun (carefully!) and some patience you should get the pattern defined easily.
