I have a real problem that i would like to have some help on if that is possible. Me and my friend are hooking up my system in my car and i am doing a ported wedge. The question is does the angle of the wedge affect my sound and everything. Right now we have it figured out at 45 degrees and i was wondering if i should make that angle bigger or not. all the help i can get would be wonderfull
thank you t.c.

i dont see a problem with the way that you have (or will) construct this enclosure. as for the angle of the wedge...there should be little to no effect to tuning freq. especially since the wedge is only one row deep. it seems to me that deep wedges with narrow openings do have effect on tuning freq.'s. i take it that you can not do as danny suggested and fit all the subs on the same plane?(i.e...flat wall) if not the way that you described should work well for you. as for the inversion of subs..it should not matter as long as phasing is correct. good luck
