I need to kno if anyones has a clue about working with these materials I'm looking for pointers on molding and texturing. I can be reached easiest by email.

I have an NAME video with rather good ABS info on it.. "Custom Forming ABS Plastics"..

I've had better luck with a small pizza oven on the larger sheets. Heat guns work great for the small stuff though, and on those pesky a/c ducts in the dash of gm cars...

I'm not concerned with moving pesky plastic outta the way, I want to know more about texturing it back to factory looks.

Shaughn - SEM makes a texture spray specifically for this. I've seen guys use 'krinkle paint' - the motor stuff found at Lordco and such - with decent results.
Finally, I've seen people use fibreglass resin shot from a paint gun. The results I have seen have been mixed... Clean up is critical too!
