Would I have anyproblems cutting the sheet metal behind the back seat with a jigsaw?

you can cut it with a jigsaw, i know some one the did a walkthrough with a jig saw, and it came out nice.

Is this a daily-driver? If it is, i'd be reluctant to do it!!! You are removing structural support, which can cause structural fatigue. I take it also that there will be nothing in the backseat, including the bench seat. I can be done with a sawsall, but make sure it's what you want to do before hand. Just some food for thought!!!

yup, its a daily driver but no one ever sits in the back seat.

Then go for it..... Just be sure to go slow and view how the car is reacting to removing the metal.
