Thanx guys for showing interest in my topic. I doubt anyone here would be familiar with my car, its a 93 alfa romeo 164. The upper part of the door panels are made of hard cardboard covered in vinyl and the lower part is just plastic. Any help would be great!!!

"integrate"...I would like to install custom grilles to fit flush into the existing door panel. I want to put speakers in a new location. To do this the panel will need modification to allow the sound to come through. The speakers will be afixed to the sheet metal part of the door. Hope this helps...Thanx guys!!!

Did an install in one about 3 or 4 years ago and I don't remember what the other side of the doors looked like. I wanted to say we just made some small kicks for it and just replaced factory speakers,it sounded good. Sorry I can't help more just thought I'd throw out that idea.
