hey guys
well ive got a Hx2 RF sub 12" now and a Kicker ZR240 running it
so what kinda box do i use ?
like i want to go ported , i guess i just need a volume and a port size

i am not familar with the new sub yet,but i can find out in a day or 2

that would be great ,the book recommends 2 ft^3 ,but ill make what ever box will sound the best
i also want to do a plexi window in the back of the box ,to see the base of the sub ,any tricks i need to know ?

You made a good choice as far as the amp. I have a 120 running mono to one of my dvc subs, and it works well. Are you going to run that sub mono at 2 ohms? Those amps run best at 2.66 ohms. Should sound good.

Yeah ill run it at 2 ohms ,i figured it would be ok if i added a cooling fan to, which ive done. Its a 12cm ball bearing one
I hope it runs ok ,ive seen the same amp/fan running 2 12" soundstreams nicely
