so... yea... im gonna put a couple of 12's (for highs) in my truck and im not gonna glass the doors (yet) so i plan on making something like this;
im not entirely sure on how to anchor it to the ceiling, but i have something cool in the works for that. now here is my idea...
i was planning on running them I.B. like the picture, or in foam baffles that i have for them. HOWEVER since i am going to be be building something interesting anyway should i get some kind of design for them or something?

How about mounting them with the seat belt holes using a steel pipe or bar mounted using these holes for the securing of the enclosue with the alpha's. Build the enclosure and have tabs out the side that mount to the holes for security.
