Im mainly looking to make the front & back of my box look nice and a bit stronger.
Heres a step by step I found...tell me what you guys think.
Wrap the enclosure, keeping the front wrinkle/kink free. You can use hotglue or a staple gun to attach the fabric to behind.
Dip your brush and paint on some resin. Cover the whole area, except for where the speakers will go, leave that just fabric bc it will all be cut later.. The dark rings you see in the pic is the MDF showing through--make sure you resin that part so that the cloth sticks to the wood. If you want to use the same brush between coats, you can soak the brush in acetone while the glass is drying, this will save the brush from haredening up.
This is the box all glassed up -- waiting to dry. The can in this picture is a gallon size of resin, and if you plan on doing a decent amout of glassing (this project applies), buy it in this size. 1 quart of resin at home depot/lowes/walmart is $10, but if you go to a local marina, or boat shop you can get 1 gallon of resin with hardener for $16 -- its the same stuff just alot cheaper. Look in the phone book for marine supply, or go to westmarine.com and look for a nearby store.
This is how it will look once its all cut. If you choose to paint/carpet the enclosure, you can continue that work here.
Pretty much this is what I want...A box like this, CRX style, and the front and back of the box look like this (same color just no plexi) and of course I would leave the port down the middle...Is the step by step I posted the proper procedure to get this??

Would be easier to do that style of box with MDF, a router and some bondo on the corners. Looks like they used vinyl to cover the trim panels, so as long as everything is even you shouldn't see any seams.

Do you know of a site where I can purchase Vinyl? Pretty much all I'd have to do is make my box (normally) and cover it up with Vinyl rather than carpet?
Ive also been looking for some plexi glass but can't seem to find any thing too thick...where do you guys buy thick plexi?

On the fiberglass enclosure above---did you go back in and add matt to the inside of the enclosure? Just looking at that you can tell it needs some serious amounts of reinforcement.
