is there a good glue to put in screw hole after its pre-drilled to help insure the subs dont come loose. or any other suggestions on how to keep them tight?

speaking of multiple baffles, take the baffle in the front of the box, the exterior, and cut it out to fit around the whole sub and not just big enough to mount it in. That way the ring can rest in the cutout and potentially take some stress off of your bolts\screws.

My MTS are mounted with long wood screws it holds fine. If you don't like that idea then get long lag bolts and go that route but it makes it a pain to change out woofers.

i think i'll try some extra large wood screws. i would bolt them in but there's no way to access the back of the subs to secure the nut while tightening.

use locknuts no need to access the back side and probably more secure.

vibrations will back off a regular nut.

or use T-nuts. that way they are threaded in and you don't have to get at the back of the speaker to remove the screws/bolts.

I use T nuts with a bolt screwed in from behind the front part of the baffle, then I use wing nuts and tighten the subwoofer on the bolts. Kind of difficult to aim the sub mounting holes on the bolts sometimes though.
