speaking of multiple baffles, take the baffle in the front of the box, the exterior, and cut it out to fit around the whole sub and not just big enough to mount it in. That way the ring can rest in the cutout and potentially take some stress off of your bolts\screws. -------------------- Competition stats so far from Audio To Go as of 2004- (Sean Madison)- http://www.audiotogo.net/splhistory.php

My MTS are mounted with long wood screws it holds fine. If you don't like that idea then get long lag bolts and go that route but it makes it a pain to change out woofers. Jason West -------------------- **In Loving Memory of Greg Welch** II Grad, June '02

i think i'll try some extra large wood screws. i would bolt them in but there's no way to access the back of the subs to secure the nut while tightening. --------------------http://cardomain.com/id/jkd20bry Eclipse CD 8455 2- XX Colossus II amp's 2- Eclipse SW 9152 PRO Ti's 5- yellow tops 95 Chrysler Sebring w/wall

use locknuts no need to access the back side and probably more secure. vibrations will back off a regular nut. David -------------------- Team SMDwww.stevemeadedesigns.com 2 RE MT 18s no amps yet walled off VW Jetta.

or use T-nuts. that way they are threaded in and you don't have to get at the back of the speaker to remove the screws/bolts. -------------------- '06 Milan Head: Stock Front: Diamond M661 6.5's passive Rear: /////Alpine SPS-57C2 5x7's Sub: Diamond M5 12" Amp: PC275, MRV T-757

I use T nuts with a bolt screwed in from behind the front part of the baffle, then I use wing nuts and tighten the subwoofer on the bolts. Kind of difficult to aim the sub mounting holes on the bolts sometimes though. --------------------http://s1.bitefight.org/c.php?uid=175990
