i like the way it looks.. especially if you cover your box in carpet or viynl.. the black just fits.. you can paint it purple if you want [Razz]

Mainly cuz it's just a hole.

For SPL i figure the best color would be white for everything. But my buddys run the loudest vehicle in canada (Team RipRock) and they're black inside.

no it is not i did mine face of wall blue and in side and port purple ....lol
all with a brush .. oo sorry this was for boxes not walls .

You cant see much inside when it is black. In the SPL cars- vans its to hide the box design. In street beaters it just becauce it covers the MDF better and makes it look better.

because it ADDS 2Db duh...i thought every one knew this and yellow is 5db but like spl2000 said yellow it just to loud !

I used the black for the exact reason that Boomer specified. It made it difficult to see the details inside my port. [Wink]

you can't judge distances when you look inside a black box [Big Grin]

it also makes taking photo's more difficult [Big Grin]

my box was black inside, then yellow where the subs are [Smile] - run DD99's for the yellow [Smile]
