I am going to be building a box for 2 ID Max's (2.5ft^3 per sub), and I was wondering what size ports I should use to tune the box to 34hz. The dimension for the box are going to be 13.5"H X 17.5"W X 21.5"D

in that box u could do a 4" Port 9.33in long for a tuning of 34hz hope this is what u need to know..

bro...that enclosure is less than 3 cubes, I thought you said 2.5 per driver????

so are you building two separate boxes then???...cause 2 by 2.5 is awfully close to five bro
