The factory location in my car fits 6 1/2's, I want to install a set of 8's in there. The diameter of an 8 isn't much more than a 6 1/2 so I'm sure it will fit. Clearance for the window etc.. shouldn't be an issue and the location is already raised away from the door and has plenty [3-4 inches] of space behind it.

I want to keep the car looking stock and use the factory grills. This means I have to mount the 8's from behind somehow. I've never done this before so what do you guys recommend ? Here's a pic of how it looks as of now.

I welcome ALL suggestions but here's some ground rules first.

- I'm not making kick panels... the car is 5sp and I'm not willing to give up my dead pedal space.

- No cutting up the outside skin of the door panels, the car must remain stock in appearance.
