Sorry that I haven't been on top of this thread lately, it just came to my attention that there was still active discussion on this thread again.
Let me try to give some background on this and some explanation behind it. When these shows started out they were small shows designed for smaller retail shops. The format worked very well for that type of show. They continued to grow in size attracting competitors from many shops to each show. All was well and good at that point until a few extreme vehicles began to pop up wanting to enter for the cash prizes. Well needless to say all of the local guys with streetable systems decided they didn't want to compete against those vehicles. So we went from having 30-40 guys entering for the cash to 5 or 6. That was the reason for not allowing ultimate vehicles go compete for the prize money.
Now for the good news. I have been listening to your feedback. For next year we are going to run two separate prize funds. The first will be for vehicles that would normally compete in the street classes and the other will encompass what would equate to super street and extreme vehicles. Hopefully in the month of January and February I'll be able to spend some time designing a basic website which will outline the classes and breakdown each class, as well as list the shows that we are lining up for 2005.
