they arent dead yet, and maybe wont die, I know the number of shows has decreased, but there are some good people working hard on correcting alot of past mistakes, gonna take alot of time though, if you are feeling short of shows though, go to www.soundoff.net thats Terry Floyds website, he can maybe get intouch with the promoter for your area, and get some shops to get shows, or maybe even get them going himself. hope that helps some.

Well I don't think IASCA is going anywhere. I would suggest doing all you can to help like renew your membership, Buy something from them, try to get some shops to hold shows etc.

Winslow, Dont feel bad, over 2 month's have gone by and still no membership or 2001-2002 ultimate rule book. I got to the point where I ordered the book again through SoundDomain and got it within 3 days. I am a long supporter of the IASCA but the only thing they need to do is work a little harder on there customer service and paying prize money.

Ok- if you check the other forums(CarSound's IASCA)- the consulting group hired to help IASCA -- Raybourn -- was the cause of confusion. In the past week, the head cheese has changed again, Raybourn has been canned, and HQ has moved to the east coast where the bulk of the board of directors resides. More of a hands-on thing.
I finally got my membership card last week. I'm figuring it was one of the last things Chris Painchaud did. (Luckily I could go to the director ...). There is some residual chaos, but it's seeming like IASCA's getting their schtuff together.
