There has always been a requirement for reciepts in the stock class... but no one has ever asked for one. I wouldn't read too much in to that one

The guys that Paul has left in charge of IdBL are complete morons. A rule that leaves a possibility of being disqualified or bumped up in class if a judge asks for receipts and you can't provide them is completely retarded. This is despite the statement above that "they never ask" if the rule is there, it's still law and someone will bring it to the table if they feel that they were completely legal and have receipts and protest another competitor over such an issue. How many of YOU pay retail for anydamnthing? None, we all find discounted product from someone. The idea of the rule is utterly tardacious. But when you leave morons up to make or change rules, that is what you get. A receipt won't prove anything either, only a receipt with a bank statement containing the debits matching the receipt amounts could be credible. The more they get into following dB Drag rules and format, the further in the ground they all go.

^Posting here are wasted keystrokes. Go to the IASCA website and post in there forum. Moe S. responds there and is very open to discussion on rules. He is a former SPL competitor, and understands the sport.

If they keep this rule they will be done for good.

No joke, I would think it kinda discriminates against using older equip. (which I think can still hang with the newer stuff.)

The receipt rule has been around for at least since 1993 or so. I've never been asked for a receipt at all. That is a rule that will not be inforced. I don't care what is written---it has never been used, and it will never be used.

x2!! .. you guys are getting WAAAAAY too worked up over something that will never happen.
IASCA has always been about making competitors happy and being reasonable with their rules.
Hell, at a comp last year I had a problem with my box being in the wrong position (back seat wouldn't raise) .. and instead of DQ'ing me they just didn't count the score. They were even nice enough to ask the other competitors if it was OK that I run again with my equipment placed as it needed to be and I got to make a 2nd run.
