Is there a list of shows and dates somewhere?? I know I asked earlier in the year and got the answer that nothing was really finalized yet.......Has anything changed????

Become a member, in case you aren't one. Then hope that the Finals invites go like the last couple of years. I am guessing the only two shows that are relatively close to Iowa will probably be cancelled. I do have hopes for the Chicago show, but those shows are being cancelled a lot.

There are NO shows around either of us!!!! Please someone give us a solid answer not a hope even though I think erallen is correct!

With the cancellation of the Fast n Furious shows---IASCA knows there is a problem. Chris Orblom (with IASCA) stated on Carsound, that if you want to attend Finals to give him a call.
My gut tells me that if you have shows around you and just didn't go---you may be in trouble. But for those with no shows around them--it will be an open invite. Their idea of 40 points requirement is looking to be a bit "optimistic" at this point. What ends up happening will probably greatly depend on how many MECA vehicles will be there (that did qualify) and the overall space available.
I would call Chris Orblom at IASCA and talk to him.

theres got to be a way that someone and org. a show in an area that ppl would have to drive but be a central area so all could have a show. i mean i would help out something like this. i dont just want east coast at finals i want to be able to beat the best in the contry lol ha ha no really i would be up to help out just a thought
I think there is literally only one person working in that office. So expect to get a voice mail. Just leave a message and he should return your call in a reasonable amount of time.
If you don't mind (out of curiousity) post what he tells you (unless he asks otherwise).

Just called......exactly what you said......become a memeber and call after no shows pop up in the area...........Where are the Finals held at anyways???? I am DEFINETLY going to be there.
