what does it mean by properly vented? how do u vent the battery out side the car? just wondering. if i put it in the sparetire well would i just cut a hole and put a little vent type thing if that would work? or do they not even really care. its a dry cell battery. thanks for the help

Yep do exacly just that , drill a little hole , use some plastic vent tubing say 1/4 " and vent outside car.Iasca even requires you to vent a gell cell -Jeff
