how many of the top systems were using caps in their installs? just wondering...

Regular caps? none that I can recall. There were a few guys using the big alumapro cap though.

didnt see any that i can remember.. alma had some of the c.a.p 's in her truck i believe, but she wasnt competing

i was in stock 1-160 aka stock 1 i had a alum. 15 farrad cap. look into batcap if you can afford them.

actually...not asking if i should use a cap or not. I was tryin to tell this other guy on CAF that caps are bad for SPL and most SPL competitors do NOT use them. He says that they help his score in his install (oddly enough, he's using JL amps which are pretty tightly regulated if i remember correctly) and that the people he sees winning the SPL comps have caps.

he also said that most of the winners at finals were using them as well. My whole argument against him was about normal caps, not the huge 50F-100F caps...i linked him to this post also [Smile]
