Ok, so here's what we have and have tested ... first, system specs:
1. Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD 2. PowerBass 3XL 6 1/2" door speakers (about to be changed the Memphis M-Class) 3. Memphis M-Class 6x9's 4. BatCap 2000 2ndary battery 5. 2 positive runs 4ga wire from main batt to BatCap (double fused in engine and trunk) 6. 2 negative runs 4ga wire from main batt to BatCap 7. 4ga run from alternator to main batt 8. 4ga run from negative main battery to ground 9. Digital Designs M3 amp 10. Kicker L5 12" D2's in Kicker factory box 11. ALT SUB -- Memphis Mojo D2 in 3.75 cu ft box, 4x 4x18" aero ports.
The L5's have an 8" port on the side of the box. With those pushed all the to the passenger side of the trunk, 1-2" from bumper, running at 1/2 ohm, I can do a 148 (147-148 on average). EDIT: Tested box rise etc yesterday, amp sees .75 ohms (nominal is .5), and drops 3399w
I am trying to get a 149-150 and can't seem to do it. With the other box using the Mojo, speaker facing into the cabin and ports firing off to the side, I can't break 147.5ish ... any suggestions on what I can try? I can use the L5's for daily driving but I need an SPL setup since I compete. So, ideas for the Mojo would be best We tried 1 6" port yesterday and then 2 6" ports and I lost about 1dB ... considering shrinking the volume down. Any input?
#'s are kick panel no dash BTW.

you have the amp wired at 0.5nominal, and you only rise to 0.75? you've got something screwy with your measurements. that's the lowest rise I've ever seen. what clamp and dmm are you using for these tests?
