since it seems I can't get past this 58 with 4 subs, I'm gonna try with 3 and use that speaker hole as an extra port and see what happens.

I will throw in my 2 cents on this.

Sanding and polishing at this point is usless it's not going to yeild any large gains snd any tear out he does would destory that work.

Rounding will help some not going to get you any huge gains. To see 2Db gain in rounding would mean that there is a diffrent issue that needs to be looked at.

I'd drop 2 subs and plug the holes for the other 2 SOILD. Fill the seams and sand out if ya need to. Use the same amount of amps ya got right now. See what happens. This would give ya a clue if more air space is needed for the subs. I would assume that with 1/2 the cone area and 1/2 the power the number will not change like you would think. This will tell you 100% with out the hours of shrinking the box time after time weather the air space will work with 4 subs. Ya might even be surpised that 2 subs is as loud as 4 subs. I know shrinkng a box sucks.

Be careful with to much port, you can cross the line where more port in not a good thing.

When you burp it what do the subs do....do they play in to the box...play out of the box or do they move the same amount in and out ? That can give you a very good idea on what area needs to be addressed.

Have you sat in the van and played it to get a feel of how it sounds and feels ? What is the air in the port like ? Does the port have pressure or vacume......no flow at all ?

One of the most important thing I have learned was how to tune a baffel. Not as far as it affects the tuen of the box but how the subs react to the thickness of the baffel. A baffel thagt is to thick will hurt your score more then you would belive. I also learned that a straigh circle is about the worste thing to do when you have a think baffel. When ya build a thick baffel think Areo port [Blob]

I'm sure if ya relook at this there is a simple mistake that has casued you so much grief.
