I'm wondering this also... but about 4" aeroports. Seems to me like if you round the edges of a slot port real good and coat it with resin, the effect should be nearly the same. And, slot ports are a heck of a lot cheaper.

aeroports can be had pretty cheap...you can buy in bulk from http://www.psp-inc.com or they will also sell them one by one (its just cheaper if you buy them by the case...12 ports)
