well i swap everything out of my old CRX and put it in a new one.(this one runs lol) sold my Mmats D300's and bought 2 bd 1500's. got done putting it in 3:30 in the morning before the show. but i was only able to get a 147.7 out of her. after doing a 149.6 w/ the D300's in the other car. i guess i have a lot of messing around to do and working on box # 10 and 11 as we speak. i think i just need to mess around w/ the AC voltage first run went threw w/ it at 85 and did a 141 droped the AC down to 70 put the subs out phase and did a 147.0 put the subs in phase and did a 147.7 so i just think that the amps were clipping. still a lot of testing to go

I put 4 bd1500's in the wagon last year, as opposed to 2 modded d300, and I went from a 151 to a 148.8. The Rockford amps are just current hogs. They are not a great amp for street class.

That's the worst part about this game. I had the same problem with my Caravan. Switched from a 92 to an 89 went up like 1.5......of course I did this AFTER World Finals.
I have heard that about CRXs though. Line up 10 of the SAME year and you could have a 3 DB difference between them all.
I think the best thing to do is to get 4-5 and use the best one.......lucky for me Caravans are cheaper than CRXs. But then again when was the last time you saw a rust free 89 caravan?

Are you refering to the Mmats D300hc, if so that is a 2 ohm amp. I dont work with rockford much but isnt the BD1500 a 1 ohm amp? if so what is the dc resistance of your subs. if its 2 or so ohm then your not geting full power out of the Bd, if its 1 ohm then your getting more out of the D3 because your running it at half the resitance. A good reason why this would happen. If you were not speaking of the D3 Mmats or the bd is also a 2 ohm amp, ignore me,...lol.
