I went to a competition yesterday. And this guy thought he was the man. I got worried cuz he had 2 9512s, 2 Crossfire 1000d's, an Ohio Generator alternator,dynamat xtreme and 0 gauge all around. In an accord facing in and sealed off, and he's a DD dealer!!! Well, i have a stock alt.(which is a little messed up, it's gonna blow VERY soon), a 9915 in a tub, no dynamat, and an Autotek MX-5000 getting only 12 volts. And i beat him by 3.5 db's. I can't imagine how it must feel like to be a shop owner and DD dealer and lose to an 18 year old who only spent 500 bucks on his enclosure. He has more cone area, better alt, better voltage, facing it, smaller cabin space, and a ton of dynamat all around. That's sucks. I don't like to put down people like this but he swore he was all that, so i had to show him who was boss.

congrats, but dont get too big of a head... shop owners can rebuild and keep rebuilding...

I owned a shop...never put too much into a stereo....didn't want to make people think that they counldnt be happy with what they could afford. never more that $2000 retail! but with always had fun. all the kids and me too!!!! Too bad that dude thought he was the man....make all of us (shop owners) look bad. bass on my friends.......ps the money things is always nice.( better for less ) killed a guy that spent lot$ on a stereo $7000+ had 3 w7's spent lots........I only had $1700 retail.....and 3.6+db
