i was just curious about the real low frequencies..... if i hit 120dB at 21Hz and i hit 120dB at 45Hz wouldnt the pressure on the passengers be exactly the same? i am wondering cause i read people always referring to low frequencies as deadly and painful and well they always make it sound that if u play those frequencies it will hit very hard....

but no, 120dB at 20Hz and 120dB at 45Hz is not gonna sound the same to your ears. Do a search on google for an explanation of "Fletcher Munson Curves". basically what they show is that at your ears naturally attenuate extreme low freq's and highs compared to say 1000Hz. this response does flatten out a good bit as the sounds get louder and louder though.
as for pressure wise...no, won't feel the same either. it's all frequency dependant...certain frequencies do different things to you physically and at different SPL levels.
