I want to go enter a competition. I was wondering what class I would be in and what are the average #'s people hit in that class. Look in my sig for my set up. I was also going to build a comp. box for the subs tuned to around 40-45 hertz. Anyone have any other suggestions to increase the spl? Thanks for the help!

If you mount box in trunk, if you have one battery on stock location, stock alternator... than you are probably in S 1-2

Build box with big port area, test for best frequency and other settings, upgrade power cables, improve ground cablčes, clean ground spots, add extra wire from battery (-) to chasis, from engine to chasiss, maybe new wire from alternator to battery...

so you would probably be in ss1-2nw. i think the world record is something close to 170db... not sure you'll be getting that high with 1 amp and a couple of 10's [Frown]
